10 Arts Bistro & Lounge Transforms into Winter Wonderland as Part of Philadelphia’s Festival of Trees

10 Arts Bistro & Lounge at the Ritz-Carlton Philadelphia will be decking its halls for the holidays from December 4 through 29—and working to raise money for a very important Philadelphia-area charity.

The month-long event will feature a dozen beautiful, unique trees decorated by Philadelphia’s top designers, retailers and institutions, transforming the location into a fabulous winter wonderland. The custom conifers are part of Festival of Trees, a month-long celebration of Philadelphia’s arts and sciences. The display opens to the public on Wednesday, December 4.

Each 8-foot tree is decorated and donated by a hand-picked designer or local institution, from holiday mainstay AIA Bookstore and Design Center, known in its own right for holiday decorations, to Swarovski, which is doing a fashion-themed tree adorned with crystals. There will be a PHS Philadelphia Flower Show tree and a constellation tree from The Franklin Institute, as well as more traditional designs from Beautiful Blooms and Petah Bashano. Other participating designers include Greystone Interiors, Interior Dialogues Studio/Jacqueline Bloomenfeld Interiors, Joseph Anthony Retreat Spa and Salon, RDS Automotive Group (McLaren, Maserati and Porsche), Three Potato Four and ToBox. The trees will remain on display through Sunday, December 29.

In the spirit of the holidays, 10 Arts will donate money from Chef Nathan’s Ultimate Hot Chocolate menu to Philabundance, the region’s largest food bank. The menu features Classic Hot Chocolate, Thai Spiced Hot Chocolate, Coffee Hot Chocolate, Peppermint Hot Chocolate and Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolate. The beverages, made with Valrhona milk chocolate, can be customized with homemade marshmallows in flavors such as vanilla bean, peppermint and orange blossom, as well as toppings like butterscotch chips, candied hazelnuts and crumbled bacon. The hot chocolate menu is available daily beginning on Black Friday (Friday, November 29) from noon until 5 p.m. Cost is $8 for a “nice” hot chocolate or $14 for a “naughty” beverage that is spiced up with a cordial.
