Destination Texas: Dish Trip Visits Austin for Behind-the-Scenes Tasting at James Holmes’ Olivia

Meet DishTrip™ — The Town Dish‘s Travel brand that captures culinary adventures. Our professional storytelling and documentation can be found regularly in our travel section on TheTownDish.com.

In Town Dish’s latest Dish Trip, we hightailed it to Austin, Texas to devour an ultra-chic VIP experience at one of the city’s heavy-hitting restaurant, Olivia, with Southwest AirlinesVisa Signature and Chase. The one-night-only private wine dinner was offered only to Rapid Rewards Cardmembers, and PA Eats‘s Founder Mary Bigham, TTD’s Editor-in-Chief Amy Strauss and Robot Mouse‘s Joshua Coyne were delighted to sneak in for the behind-the-scenes experience—all to capture it editorially and through video for Southwest’s Nuts About Southwest blog. Better yet, the forever-memorable tasting event was not only hosted by Olivia’s acclaimed chef James Holmes, but his West Coast partner-in-crime for the night was Clay Mauritson of Sonoma County’s Mauritson Wines.
