Celebrating its seventh year, the Gettysburg Fest is a highly anticipated event, which has established itself as a vibrant festival that residents and visitors alike enjoy. The Gettysburg Fest is a high energy five-day showcase of the best performing, visual and culinary arts from Gettysburg and throughout the Mid-Atlantic. The Fest connects local artists and merchants from throughout the community to Fest attendees through events in the areas of performing, visual and culinary arts, as well as film, theater and children’s events.
“We are extremely excited about our headliners-Country chart topper Eric Paslay, acousitic-alternative Americana trio The Lone Bellow and actor Steven Lang’s one-man play, Beyond Glory,” explains Randy Prasse, festival executive director. “As with hosting Hunter Hayes at last year’s Fest, our goal is to be known for being on the cusp of up-and-coming entertainment, not only nationally, but regionally as well.”
While the majority of the family-friendly activities are free and open to the public, there are a few reasonably priced ticketed events. The festival will feature 50 live performances on seven stages and we’re listing our top choices.
